@adrienne Still loving the #EV6. I did a complete (80%) fill up on Tuesday evening and still plenty of charge left. I absolute adore driving it. Once we get the home charger installed, it will all be good. I did finally get the seat in the right position, memorized it, then promptly reset it when I held the button down too long after leaning it back. Grrr. It has 2 driver "profiles" and a Guest, but no one told me before I got all the settings done in Guest mode. Now I have to reset everything.

And the #EV6 was fantastic. It didn't need a charge but #Kia gives you 1000 free KWh at Electrify America charging stations, so I figured why not. And the cruise control was amazing, as it controls the speed based on the traffic and even keeps the car in the lane itself. It was a little weird at first but it worked great. I did forget to turn it off once, even wondering why it was chirping at me and wouldn't lock! Got my home charger yesterday and the electricians are coming tomorrow.

Our first road trip in the #EV6 went well yesterday. We took a 90 minute drive to Hyannis on #CapeCod , walked the streets buying stuff, had an excellent fried clam lunch, did more shopping at the Cape Cod Mall while the car charged (19 minutes to go from 34% to 81%) and then drove back. Weather was beautiful, even warmer than expected, getting to about 85F (29.4C). The crowds weren't too bad, nor was the traffic. It was a good day.

Just a lazy early Sunday morning here. Going to take a day trip to #CapeCod today in the new car so look for more pictures. #ev6

Then I was called at 11;30pm, asking if I would give R and her friend a ride home. Show off the new #EV6? Go ahead, twist my arm! I started reading the 500+ page Owner's Manual - what can I say, I'm a glutton for punishment! I do want to get the max out of the car. I'll need to add book tags to it though. And I probably should do it while in the car, so I can try some of the things talked about. I did put it into Sport mode and showed off the acceleration. It's breathtaking!

Well, it finally happened. We finally got the new #car . But even that wasn't without drama. We got the call at noon from the #Kia dealer, saying our #EV6 was ready to be picked up. We cleaned out the minivan and traded it in, driving away happy. Until G noticed her Fitbit was missing and after some back and forth, the sales guy found it under one of the minivan seats. So back to Lynn to pick it up. How terrible! Had to drive the new car a whole bunch more than planned!

There was a small glitch in the system as far as picking up the new car yesterday. The machine for doing the inspection was broken, so rather than make 2 trips, we figured we'd wait until today to pick up the #EV6. It's always something. We did plug in the #Bolt for the first time. We only have a 120 circuit right now, so it only added 40 miles but enough to get to work and back for @adrienne . Hope to hear from the electrician today about the 240. #cars #kia #chevrolet

Obviously, once we pick up the #EV6 a little later today, I will bore you with pictures. Both the ARIYA and EV6 came in any color we wanted, as long as it was either white or black 😺 (well, the ARIYA also came in gray). I think the white is good-looking, but G wasn't as excited but willing to go with it. Not sure what's up with the lack of color choices. End of the model year, I guess. Now I need to talk with the electrician about getting a plug in the garage for both(!) EVs.

@jda I love my #EV6 but it's unfortunate that it's not eligible for the tax credit because the batteries aren't manufactured stateside.
