My daughter (8) and her friend (7) started chatting about electric cars on a walk recently… that they’re a bit expensive but you never have to pay for diesel, and anyway #EVs are good for the environment.

Then my daughter said “And Mummy what’s the date…?”

“2030” I replied (I knew exactly what she was asking).

And so their chat continued.

I just listened with a big grin on my face. My only input to the conversation was “2030”.
