#WillowTit used to be a common #forest species in Finland. 2019 it was classified as #endangered on the Red List because of drastic population declines.
A new 30 year study suggests main culprit is intensive #forestry:
"The #EvenAged #forest #management has caused habitat loss for the #WillowTit which has affected the spatial breeding distribution measures and probably has a major role in the #population #decline of the species."
