So I have that webhook2sqs #python #lambda feeding data onto #AWS #SQS that #eventdriven @ansible can pull from. I use this event info to run a graphql query to fill some gaps in the data from the event and generate some helpful alerts

So now my favorite way to get webhook events into #eventdriven #ansible is serverless webhook receiver to message queue (#AWS SQS or #Azure service bus). Event-Driven @ansible (EDA) has source plugins for both SQS and ASB. It just makes sense to add a dash of durability!

I think what we need for a new system design...is an #eventdriven , #cloudnative system.

This is a system which financial/accounting based.

Funds are allocated, a "specification pattern" type is used to decide how theyre allocated and very often...funds need "un-allocated" due to user errors or other problems.

After dealing with the legacy system for over a year now, sometimes you want to just roll the clock backwards to a point in time for a "re-do".

Event sourcing? Yes/No?
