Some days, it's hard to have hope. Some days, it's so obvious that #EverybodyKnows, all that I can muster is *fury*. Fury is not a full substitute for hope, but it'll do. It's a far superior alternative to the fatalism that "everybody knows" and thus nothing can be done.

Some fights you win, and other fights, you just fight, because surrender isn't an option. Everybody knows, right? If everybody knows, then everybody might just decide to do something about it.

If you look at #reality—peek behind the curtain it uses to cover itself—it's like we're in one big casino; the decks are stacked, the games are rigged. Or like Tammany Hall, now we're in the new roaring-20s, only 100 later. And #everybodyKnows, goes the song, and that's how it goes.
