I hoped for someone who knows some kind of report for "everyday people", as it's hard to get why nearer objects are harder to find than to scan the whole #milkyway (#Gaia) and why #JamesWebb may be pointed to #NASA's #DART #asteroid redirection test (and #Mars) but mostly looks in regions which don't affect us (other #galaxies). I try to explain the same for #spaceflight (similar to #EverydayAstronaut, but broader / less detailed / #rocketscience). I'm just not so much into #astronomy to explain it myself in general terms
