In the humanities, "Evidence-based" is a rubbish idea.
Because here, in the humanities, our theories produce the outcome (the "evidence").
So basing yourself on "evidence" that your own flawed ideas and observation methods might have produced, is a recipe for disaster.

96% of people who promote "Evidence-based" approaches do not understand science sufficiently. This, sadly, includes the creators of the tagline.

The natural sciences must be #evidencebased. Otherwise they are esoterica.
In the humanities, we should use better theory about theory than that!
