As an #EvolutionaryBiologist I wish "design" wasn't a taboo word. To me if there is a logic one can apply to how something came to be, it could be described as designed.

Ex: if an immune gene has evolved to fight a specific bacteria, the gene was designed, by natural selection, to fight the bacteria.

Does a "designer" need to be a proper noun human? Can 'processes' be designers? Ex: think machine learning...

Just as an #evolutionary thought experiment - what would happen in a population of people in which absolutely everyone thought "How can I help you?" (if they were able)

Call me a dreamer - if ants 🐜 can cooperate to be a super organism - surely humans can learn too? 🤔
