Sleep is the often forgotten about help to improving physical and mental health. During the pandemic I started forcing myself into regular and longer sleep patterns, in particular after being #type2. A non-scientific study on myself only, so hardly scientific pointed to the benefits. Also try to avoid screens for an hour before bed. I know it is hard these days...
Off to the gym this morning. Week number 3 and I have to say I'm surprised at how much I'm enjoying it.
I've never been interested in going to the gym, but I mainly blame my first husband for souring the experience. My current partner is very encouraging and let's me go at my own pace, while being supportive.
We're each other's accountabilabuddies :D

Changed my #Diet to high protein & good carbs. Used the anxiety to get up early and start walking briskly. Learned a modern #excercise routine and stuck to it morning and evening. Brisk walk before bed. The rest of my free time was spent dancing in front of the big speakers. I even started eating the dreaded bananas.
It's not been a week yet, and the pandemic podge is almost gone. Muscles are starting to show. IBS is gone. Energy levels are high. Feels great.

I've been on a good run lately with meditation and healing of mind, body, soul. It takes commitment but I'm noticing the positive changes. I'm less prone to emotional swings, I'm more aware of the present, and can regulate my feelings better.
