One of the things I like about Luke Jerram's #Gaia in #ExeterCathedral is that we can only really see the southern hemisphere. It's a change from our northern-centric perspective.

I've just read that Exeter Cathedral had a cat on its payroll back in the 15th Century (it was paid one penny a week) since their astronomical clock was interfered with by rats.

This Greek inscription on a memorial stone in #ExeterCathedral was a fun puzzle for @pennyendersby and me back in August.
The lettering and layout are all over the place. Are those really rho? Is that an epsilon at the end of the first line? What is that odd scythe-like shape on the second line? And above all, what on earth is that loopy squiggle? Zeta? Theta? even Xi?

I love watching, even though I know very little BSL - the use of the body, sign and gesture brings the prayers and readings alive in a different way.
