This video does a great job exploring many corners of this genera of #horror, something I was introduced to through #Lovecraft and other #existentialHorror fiction of that type. I often say I hate the horror genera but really it's the blockbuster jump-scare genera I have a distain for, and I can appreciate other types of horror, like this. It's fascinating at times digging into what's causing the fear in these contexts. Loss of control and autonomy, pain and suffering, disphorea and change. It's interesting exploring fears and through fiction and stories because these are not feelings I would seek out otherwise 😅
