My mom used to say that how you spend January 1st sets the tone for the whole year.

I spent yesterday by reading a book from 9 am till 2 am. On one hand I love starting a year by doing something from start to finish, on the other hand, I had completely different plans for that day.

Curious to see if I had set a tone of focusing on one thing until I am done with it, or ignoring my previous plans. Let the story unfold....
