I am building a collection of , , , & other with references. King David, King of , noted for killing Goliath (this is disputed) and unifying all the tribes of , features on this piece.
The bible lists his lineage down to Jesus. I haven't got as many pieces which quote the Old Testament but this quotes both 2 Samuel & 1 Kings

I also picked up an Imitation Spade Guinea & two imitation half guineas. I do like these, and I already have a lot, which is a bit dangerous - the variations are often quite small so it's next to impossible to ID them without "A Thousand Guineas Plus" in front of you. Do I already have these? No idea! I'll find out once I sit down and go through them carefully. They're in nice condition though.
