I'm calling Bullshit on #Experian (the credit reporting agency). First, logging in takes you to a screen to purchase credit protection (not worth it) that is hard to bypass. And, they knocked my credit score by 3 points because of a 2% increase in charges on a low-limit card. Nonsense stuff. I absolutely loathe that company.

I think #Experian is panicking. They sent me emails that I've decided to not respond to, so they are sending more emails, and they are probably going to continue until the heat death of the universe.

My FICO score has moved a smidgen, either up or down. Yay! 🥳

They essentially want ALL your data and they are neither very transparent what they do with it, nor is their data safety record "impeccable" either (to say the least).

2/5... Oh, and they have offered me a 12-month free membership to #Experian Identity Plus - how bloody generous of them. I tried to figure out how much it costs me afterwards. Well hidden info. Looks like it's £180 a year. What a racket! If only 10% of USS members are frightened enough to sign up for it, that's £7.2 Mio/A for what looks like a cheap simple monthly data retrieval. The actual monitoring still needs to be done by the client.....

Due to really terrible leaks of my personal information from #Experian, I'm signed up to occasionally receive emails that remind me that my #CreditScore is just a random and meaningless number.

I had to "thaw" my #Experian #CreditReport so a lender could query it. Immediately something called Experian Business Info Solutions grabbed a copy of my credit report. I assume this is their own internal spam generator and that I'll now get a bunch of "offers" from them. What a scam!

Man I hate #experian. I got another message from them that my #credit changed. Of course I'm interested, but when I log in I **always* get a screen asking me to pay for a better #membership. It grates.

How about I say "no" once and you bloody leave me alone?
