I didn't know about extracellular vesicles acting as decoys.
I wonder if rosacea is protective against winter respiratory infections - when it flares my nose feels a lot warmer. Also noticed that if I apply an icepack to my forehead for ~ 15 min before bed I sleep better, but my nose is red the next day.
