Verdict: Brutal and very well made revenge action movie. Some takes are just awesome.

My son is now old enough to be disappointed in movies with derivative writing like #extraction2 . We both agree the story should have been backwards, with the thrilling, single tracking shot prison escape at the end.

Went with #Extraction2.
It was ok - not as good as (what I remember of) the first one.
Still, the (fake) "oner" was quite good fun + impressive (but again, not quite as good as the first).

Selten so einen schlechtem Film gesehen. Dumme Story, langweilige Figuren, ein extrem nerviges Kind, der Held ist ätzend und langweilig, eine Kameraführung die nervt und versucht eine künstliche Dynamik zu erzeugen, die Action ist unfassbar schlecht choreografiert und besteht nur aus Brutalität und Blut. Und es sind so gut wie keine Dialoge vorhanden. #Extraction2

Just watched Extraction 2. I cannot remember much of the first one other than i enjoyed it.
Pretty much same lines which isn’t a bad thing.

The action sequences were fantastic and so well done. Not much of a plot but it really doesn’t matter as the set pieces are great and overall a fun popcorn movie 🍿

End of an era...

1. My first company, where I worked for almost a decade, is closing down this month after operating + providing jobs + creating world class engineers for the past 30 years (or so). Such a sad news.

2. On a lighter note, it's my first time in 3 years to have a shorter hair (bye man bun). I was inspired by #ChrisHemsworth's haircut in #Extraction2 😂 but not that short (not yet ready for that). Because that movie was awesome! With that said, I'm ready for #Extraction3.
