Does it fit into the category? Hell yes!

This book is descriptively gross. It was a fun read, but the story is not great. What it lacks in story, it makes up in grossness though!

Seidlinger is a commentary on culture, fame & fear w meta-layers re: our complicity w/in these paradigms but really, it's just a very disturbing tale of fuckery turned up to 11. You may be shaken & anxious reading it, & may never trust anyone again, but you'll remember it!

I'm a retired teacher who now spends most of their time either watching films or reading about them. I'm interested in the academic study of horror though not a resident of the ivory towers myself. I do however enjoy attending online conferences and academic events.
