I'm delighted to announce the release of the beta version for the next #Eyedropper release! Some of the notable features include visual feedback when entering a color, the ability to input any supported color format, a convenient color search function in the overview, a new way to choose the export format for palettes, as well as minor design changes and much more (visit https://github.com/FineFindus/eyedropper/releases/tag/v0.7.0-beta for the full changelog).
Try it now on #Flathub and send me your feedback!

While I was working on reimplementing the #Eyedropper settings, I made an interesting discovery. It turns out that the move up/down actions change the row position but fail to save the movement in the settings. And it took me only 9 months to discover that I forgot to implement this…
@KekunPlazas If you haven't found someone, please let me know and I'll volunteer to maintain it.
I am currently maintaining/developing #Eyedropper, which also uses Rust and Libadwaita.
Good luck!
Ever wondered how #88C0D0 actually looks like?
In the next version of #Eyedropper, you'll be able to search and directly view the color in #GNOME's Activities Overview.
I'm excited to announce, that following the acceptance of #Eyedropper in #Gnome Circle, I've joined the @gnome Foundation as a new member.
Here's a small preview of improved user feedback when manually entering a new color in the next version of #Eyedropper. It will now blink with an error/success color. The input can now also be entered by clicking the new apply button.
#Eyedropper v0.6.0 is now available with a lot of smaller improvements and the new app icon.
I am pleased to announce that with the new release, Eyedropper is joining #GNOME Circle.
Today is also the day Eyedropper hit over 10k downloads from #Flathub
Thanks to everyone who contribute, translated and downloaded it. It has been a pleasure developing it so far, and I have some exciting features planned for the future.
I'm planning to release a new version of #Eyedropper before / on Friday, if anyone has a bit of spare time until then and speaks multiple languages, feel free to contribute a new #translation to it or update an old one.
Visit https://github.com/FineFindus/Eyedropper#translation for more information.

Thanks to @tbernard, #Eyedropper now has a new icon, which is compliant with #GNOME guidelines. I can't thank him enough, it looks absolutely fantastic!
It will be available in the next major release, v0.6.0.
#Eyedropper now supports exporting palettes as #Adobe Swatch Exchange (ase) files. Simply use the .ase file extension when exporting and enjoy using it an #Photoshop, Illustrator, etc...
Those who are using #Eyedropper (a color picker and formatter for the #GNOME / #Linux desktop): What are some features that you would like to see in the next release?
(Global shortcuts will most likely be included in the next release)
