#neurotoots (?) & #eyetracking experts, I still have an #Eyetribe #eyetracker sitting on a shelve. Used for a bit when it just came out but now that the company stopped support years ago, can it still be used somehow? @esdalmaijer @c_strauch

Student hadn't realized that the #eyetracker was sometimes tracking the left eye and sometimes tracking the right eye. Only extracted data for left eye, and we were perplexed about why it looked so bad. Surely proportions of looks to target shouldn't be maxing out at under 0.1!

Re-extracted the data, got columns for fixations with both eyes, and now everything looks MUCH tidier.

God, that was satisfying.

Student now knows about the setting to choose which eye to track!
