Honestly, if anyone wants to understand #EzraPound and unravel how a #poet becomes a fascist, all they need to read is his book, ABC of Reading. His illustrious ego is made quite clear. Brilliant, yes, but certainly he was never as brilliant as he imagined himself to be. One can only imagine it must have been an mighty internal struggle of an inferiority complex layered over a superiority complex.
