But it’s really about him using films as a way to understand the things that scare him in the world... about realizing your parents are real, human people, with real, human failings and foibles, and processing what that means for you, and whether you’ll ever be able to go home as an adult the way you did as a child."

🍿 I just got back from the #Fabelmans movie. Great movie! I like the way how the beginning and the end fit together. The beginning - the train crash etc. And the end, the meeting with Ford, the author of the movie with train that caused the trauma of the main character.
