I had two phonecalls today, both were awesome and made me giddy, one made me dig through my drawer of original drawings and paintings where I found an aweful old sketch, that I forcefully erased and then euphorically drew a fox over. Giddy, I tell you, giddy!!! šŸ˜‚ā¤ļø

I pretty much hated Pastelmat (a cellulose-based surface) until I began working on this wolf. It is giving me so many options for texture ā€” which is ideal for wolf hair. I love it! Thank you to Bonny Snowdon for the tutorial and Susan Richardson for the reference photo.

Just bought a 7x10 mixed media wire bound pad. This was before I found the 7x10 mixed media pad I thought was 5x8.

Welp.

My goldfaber aqua pencils and I will be busy.

I'm definitely a beginner, but I'm going to channel my younger self who'd flip OUT if my warm colors got mixed with the cool colors in my marker pack.

During its journey through the sky, we saw many exciting sights, including the awe-inspiring -AND ACTIVE volcano, Popocatepetl.
