Ich hatte vor einiger Zeit die deutsche Fassung von Truant Games günstig erstanden und war von der Übersetzung abgeschreckt, wodurch das Buch leider erstmal im Regal verschwunden ist.

Latest 4 #comics I’ve read. The first 3 are #comixology Unlimited offerings. There’s a lot about #Ultra I liked. I loved Lee Garbett’s art on #Skyward (look at that hair!), but the overall story didn’t grab me. Ugh, and #Fables v16 was a waste of time: “name a comic that builds up a confrontation and deus ex machina’s itself out of it” - no thank you. #Air was lovely.

139 drawings by Oudry for the Fables of La Fontaine sold yesterday at Christie's New York for USD 2.7 million (fees included). Quite a checkered provenance - they used to be part of a set of two albums until the 1970s, when "Claus Virch, Bermuda Islands (Art Associates Partnership)" dismembered the second album.
The drawings were engraved for the 1755-59 luxury edition published in Paris by Desaint and Saillant.
