What would be a good natural fiber fabric (or other option?) to replace the mesh on the back of this #recumbent #bike seat back? It's in really rough shape (worst damage not pictured). I need something that will retain it's shape, be comfortable on a warm day, and can handle getting wet in the rain. Lightweight would be nice too. Plant fibers only please. Maybe I can weave something out of thin cordage??

Okay I *know* "tossed" has a specific fabric-pattern meaning (minimally-obvious repeat, non-directional) but when it's a pattern of cookies, someone made a *choice* to say "Tossed Cookies Christmas" instead of "Tossed Christmas Cookies."

Wait a minute, not sure it's even technically tossed: there's a lot of angles but still clearly a top and bottom.

Then its time to cut some #fabric and do a little bit of hand #Quilting.....it would be done by machine but well, my sewing machine is a nightmare and I can't be bothered to set it up!

Desperately, desperately, I want Ravelry for sewing. MOSTLY, I want a good way to stash my fabrics somewhere digital.

I have a lot of fabric that was purchased for projects I'm not going to make anymore. My style has shifted but the fabrics would still potentially work. I just... don't fully know what and how much I have.

I guess I could create a notions thing, or obsidian locker, or a google album or something.

You know clothes with elastane are incredibly difficult for machines to separate fibres so they are rarely recycled. Even second hand stretch jeans often are baggy and saggy because the fibre stretches out and shortens the life of the garment. I know hard pants are hard but 100% cotton jeans are the way to go for a long wearing garment that can be passed on/ recycled.
