Face unlock is a cool feature on phones. But I really do not like when my phone tells me my face doesn't match.

Stay in your lane phone, just because I look like shit today does not mean that it is not my face.

We are gonna have to do something about these judgy smartphones.

Just realised that with replacement phone + forehead stitches, I've missed the perfect opportunity to experiment with facial recognition for unlocking.

Now I'll never know if any of the dressing->stitches->steri-strips->scab->scar transitions would have broken the face unlock feature. 😰

There's so much I prefer to do on my #Pixel4XL over my #Pixel6Pro and the only reason for that is #faceunlock. It's why everyday I look for a viable alternative to #SolidExplorer because it doesn't use the proper biometrics API and thus doesn't support face unlock. I was hopeful about #MaterialFiles, but it's had one update since I installed it. Any recommendations for #opensource #Android file managers with network storage support appreciated.
