WHAT DO YOU CALL THAT HERE???
For a #tweet, it's a #twoosh. Nobody will tell me the cool name for them here. I thought it could be "toosh," but that doesn't follow the ee-->oo vowel shift that twoosh does.
I'm slightly obsessed with making them, whatever they are called. It has become a bit of a problem since I made the #TwitterMigration to #Mastodon. It was fun on Twitter. #280characters is oddly easy for me to hit.
When I moved here, I thought, "I can do 500 no sweat." But then I picked an instance for its funny #Portal2 reference that has a 1024 character limit! That's, like 2^10! It takes altogether too long for me to compose something pithy, struggle to expand it, and then end up at >1500 and have to cut the whole part about how Twitter's original #140character limit made me quit the site and the #factorial joke I loved.
Which is all a long-winded way to ask you, in your capacity as #MayorOfTootTown, to please come up with a good name for Mastodon #Toots that hit #Counter0. Pretty please?

so far as i can tell, there's four different ways to write an integer factorial function. you can either count up when multiplying, or count down. you can do that counting through a for loop, or do it recursively. so my question is, is a for loop or recursion more desirable? is counting up or down more desirable? why?
