Gestern ging es via #F756 über die Straße 35, die #Kjölur, von #Bakkaflöt nach Süden. Sicher nicht der schönste Weg, aber immernoch beeindruckend und vor allem die schnellste Nord-Süd Verbindung in #Island. Die Kjölur lässt sich theoretisch auch ohne Allrad befahren, ich verstehe aber, warum die Vermieter das untersagen. Besonders Bodenfreiheit ist hier beruhigend.

Heute geht es dann, wenn die Bedingungen passen, zum #Fagradalsfjall.

#Iceland seismometer sensor "FAF" was disconnected temporarily to move it out of the path of the lava flow from #LitliHrutur. In the past webcams have been destroyed🔥 by lava when staff didn't act quickly to move them.
