I am not sure developed-world folks understand that what is happening in #Buffalo—people suffering and dying unnecessarily due to an extreme weather event—is just another step along the path to #SocietalCollapse brought on by #ClimateChange, #LateStageCapitalism, and #FailedGovernance.

Most people can't imagine how much worse it's going to get or how long it will be—if ever—before it gets any better.
