Leading #Soviet dissident, one of the 'protest of seven' on #Moscow's Red Square in August 1968, Viktor #Fainberg has passed away. He was one member of a very courageous handful of people who openly demonstrated against the #crushing of the #Prague #Spring by Soviet (and other #Warsaw #pact) #tanks. He later became a fighter against #punitive #psychiatry, having spent four years in a psychiatric hospital in Leningrad.
