And finally the still new #FDroidBasic client allowing automatic updates of installed apps.

Recently tried out #SimpleX messenger and like it quite a bit so far. @fdroid

If it's necessary, I'll be there and support marcel's great work again and again!
So that #FairEmail and #NetGuard will stay for us @liberloebi

Hopefully we will find a solution together so that Marcel will continue to maintain his super firewall #NetGuard and adapt it in case of problems with future Android versions!

I would also pay again for the PRO version!
Before the maintenance of NetGuard ends I am very willing to transfer another 10 Euro or so!

The same goes for #FairEmail for me!

I don't want to do without any of these super programmes that still really live privacy and best support!!!!

Just today I went through a bunch of spam email and added rules in #FairEmail. Not quite brave enough to instantly delete them, but the rules move the emails to junk after a few days. In some cases, I also suppress the notification.

This is mostly to clean up my inbox when I'm looking for older messages and prevent spam from clogging up storage.

It made me realise just incredibly powerful #FairEmail is in its rules. There was a ton of stuff that I could do, might tinker more later.

#FairEmail fans, how do I make sure email preview content gets rendered as plain text only? You, *ahem*, can't really hack pain text.

I'm experimenting with the app to see how I like it. So far that's the only setting that is eluding me.

Na některých mobilech se stává, že notifikace z výborného e-mailového klienta #FairEmail z F-Droidu nefungují.
Problém je řešitelný odinstalací aplikace a instalací z #IzzyOnDroid. 😊
Budete mít i rychlejší aktualizace, které jsou na F-Droidu vydávány pomaleji.

Aber für Android habe ich noch eine andere Empfehlung: #FairEmail

Kann wie K9 auch #OpenPGP, gibt's im #Fdroid, wird vom Deutschen Programmierer #MarcelBokhorst entwickelt, der auch andere tolle datenschutzfreundliche und -fördernde Apps wie #Netguard (kompletter oder teilweiser Internetentzug, damit Antitracking und Werbefreiheit für Apps) entwickelt.

Da zahle ich auch gern was für die Vollversionen.

Ich nutze in #fairemail auch nur die Grundeinstellungen. Ist reine Gewohnheitssache. Meine Handys sind alle ent-googled. 1x #grapheneos, 1x #iode 1x #eos. Bevorzugt also der #fdroid store und ich habe die Erfahrung gemacht, die E-Mail apps dort sind um längen Besser, als die, die im #playstore vorhanden sind. Wobei die o.g. auch da zur Verfügung stehen.

Ich bin gerne bereit für etwas zu bezahlen was ich nutze. Aber die sich immer mehr ausbreitenden #abomodelle finde ich langsam zum K ...
Schade, aber so kann man tolle Apps oder Software auch kaputt machen.

Ich hatte #K9Mail früher lange Zeit genutzt und war bis auf die damals doch recht umständliche Implementierung von Verschlüsselung und Signaturen, die teilweise externe Tools verlangte, immer sehr zufrieden. Sehr schön, dass der Client weiterentwickelt wurde.

Ich bin dann auf #FairEmail umgestiegen, auch #OpenSource und Privacy orientiert. Bisher habe ich keinen Grund, dass wieder zu ändern - einfach weil ich zufrieden bin und nicht, weil ich denke das neue K9Mail sei schlechter.

Erstmal die Pro-Version von #Fairemail gekauft. Benefit: Ich kann die Settings exportieren oder sogar cloudbasiert synchronisieren.
Hauptgrund ist aber die Unterstützung des Programmierers für dieses tolle Tool!
