I really liked my #Fairphone3. But when the bottom module is not available anymore, it is useless.

@XaosGeist The same goes for me with my almost new #fairphone3+. But my first reflex was "I wanna have the new one". I never have this thought with my laptop. Smartphones should be treated as long lasting and valuable devices, like their big brother the laptop.

Dear @Fairphone i won't buy a #Fairphone5. I had a #Fairphone3+ and I spent a lot of money to buy it. I lost it this summer while I was hiking in Calabria and I think you should add a proper way to find a lost device. It's undoubtedly a way to make it last as much as you say!

I need a new phone. My #Fairphone3 broke and my son's old Moto G4 is a bit… slow. Wish list:

1. Plain #Android as close to #AOSP as possible (like #AndroidOne) or easy to install custom ROM.
2. Camera with decent optics (a megapixel sensor is useless without a proper lens).
3. Accurate GPS.

Any suggestions?

Oui, je passe mes #vacances au bord d'un très beau lac.
Pour une fois que je suis content d'une photo prise avec mon #fairphone3 , je me gêne pas pour la partager !

Es ist immer wieder spannend für mich, meine freie Hardware auf eine neue Version zu bringen. Gestern habe ich mein #Fairphone3 mit #eOS 1.12.3 versehen, was gleichzeitig ein #Update von #Android 10 auf 12 bedeutete. Damit musste ich zwar wieder alles neu einrichten, aber so ein Neubeginn hat auch etwas Erfrischendes. Manchmal bin ich halt ein #Bastler 😉.

Hm, war bei @montag und hab seinen Akku getestet -> Handy startete wieder. Also wohl Akku plötzlich komplettt tot, hab daraufhin einen neuen Akku bestellt, kam an, eingebaut und.. nichts. Paar Stunden ans Ladegerät gehängt, weiter nichts. Neuer Akku ebenfalls kaputt schließe ich mal aus. Ladegeräte/kabel hab ich verschiedene getestet die an anderen Geräten funktionieren.

Was könnte das sein? Neuer Akku leer und Ladebuchse kaputt? Auf Verdacht ne neue Buchse bestellen wird langsam bisschen viel Zeug was ich vielleicht am Ende gar nicht brauche. Ideen, was es sonst sein könnte? Gibt es irgendwelche verdächtigen Kontakte die ich als Lötlaie zumindest optisch beurteilen kann?
