This annual event, which starts today, gives us a chance to show our appreciation for growers of our food and drink, and also impetus to learn of their countries and customs.

Most supermarkets sell a range of Fairtrade products as regular stock, and you can recognise it by the fact that those items bear a symbol not that different to my logo above. This is a strange coincidence, but a thrilling one.

Fairtrade Fortnight lasts until March 12th. Please join in.
