@DebraMartz I don't think there's a real hashtag for it here, but somebody I follow has a handful of posts up using just to give you a sense. I'm guessing somebody just decided to repurpose a stump after some storm damage by adding that roof to take it all to the next level! :)

Just got back from a wine run. As I unlocked my front door, overhead a 4 y/o girl exclaim, “Mama the faeries have a sign like the one at my school!!”

I don’t know who gets more out of the faerie door, me or everyone else. This brings me joy.

@bryanculbertson here are the fairy doors at my house (the original red external door at the base of the tree was ripped off by vandals, but replaced by an anonymous person in the neighborhood). The interior door is the portal into my living room, for when the temperature dips below zero degrees.

Dropped close to freezing today in Chicago I noticed that the faeries out front came into the living room portal. I never do catch a glimpse of them! P.S. one day during the summer, while I was tending the front gardens, a little boy stopped and asked, “he lady, are you the Faerie Manager?” I replied that I was.

During the depths of the pandemic, I put a fairy door out front. One of them has been ripped off. I left a cranky note (“what’s wrong w/you?!”) & it was replaced (gifted) w/this pink one. This ayem, a woman was taking pictures of the Halloween decor. Another neighbor made a teeny free faerie library. It’s a group project by now. Now it’s decked out for autumn!
