@SocraticEthics Hardly. Everything #Prigozhin has done resulted in an improvement of #Putin ‘s position *relative* to his less trusted military brass. They made a sweetheart deal which included a #FakeRebellion. How is this not obvious?

@Bellingcat Aborted rebellion? It seemed like a staged rebellion to me, as evidenced by the sweetheart deal given to the ‘traitors’ by #Putin, and #Prigozhin reserving his vitriol for the #Russian military brass.

Result of the #FakeRebellion : #Wagner gets to roost in #Belarus and Putin is seen as the leader who averted #CivilWar.

We’ll soon see which military brass are made scapegoats. 💀

@Springhead #Putin doesn’t care what you, me, or anyone in the West thinks. #Russians who are in his cult think Gorbachev was the weakest Russian leader there ever will be because he allowed the breakup of the #SovietUnion. To them, #Putin showed strength by avoiding #CivilWar despite bungling by military brass, who are disappearing (as expected by clear-eyed observers).

But his #FakeRebellion won’t buy him much more time. ✅
