Not again!! Another victim dashing off emails to a fake "US General" about her "fiancée" going on holiday to her. Using Gmail, of course. And the fake "US soldier" is "in Yemen", where they are not. People should have a certain degree of knowledge, and if they don't know --LOOK IT UP.
Needless to say, the victim is told what to write, by the scammer. "I am the fiancée/wife of blah blah."
This is a case of the victim actually lying, because they are unable to be either of those to an unknown Character on the internet who they have never met. It gets worse because a so-called leave payment or fee is due for this holiday. As people should know, "soldiers" do not pay for leave, it is free.
We have advice pages to inform you. Soldiers do not want some dusky maiden 3000 miles away, or 30 years older. They want to go home, spend all their money, get pissed, jump all over some local girl they met in a bar.
