They were governed by the King's Chiefs, who are all of royal descent, collectively known as Ali‘i.

They were further subdivided into something known as ahupua‘a. Which were governed by lesser chiefs, who were still of royal descent.

The ruling Chiefs re-distributed goods, from the Farmers to the Fisherman. All were happy, then #fakestate
