Do I follow/am I followed by anyone currently playing Fallen London? (Or anyone curious about it and thinking of starting?) Got into it about two weeks ago so it seems to be at least a little sticky for me. Don’t love the psychology of time-locked free-to-play but it works with the story and gameplay well enough #fallenlondon

Well, if there was any question that the Fallen London devs approve of the wiki, one of them just straight up said that, even if they're making it more newbie friendly, it's probably very unrealistic to expect anyone to play without checking the wiki at least a few times. It makes me feel better about having to look something up on it pretty much every day. Well it would if the wiki weren't deader than a doornail right now. RIP #FallenLondon wiki.

Playing a ton of Mask of the Rose has gotten me back into #FallenLondon, and yo, that game is still good as hell. Failbetter makes a good game.

My main character is now deep in their Heart's Desire Ambition. My secondary (primary secondary... 😅) is deep in Seeking Mr. Eaten's Name, which will inevitably destroy the character.

There are tons of new things in the game since I last played, and I'm having a blast learning the new loops and systems.

PSA: The current #fallenLondon living story, about ushering an elderly whale on a long voyage, has some really nice writing. You do need to be a pretty advanced character to be able to take part, though. It’ll probably be running for at least a couple more days, as the rate it’s currently going. #games

The Anchoress (or at least her cat) has killed me twice so far, and I had to grind a bunch just to see her again, and I’m assuming she’ll kill me a third time. If that doesn’t epitomize #fallenLondon players I don’t know what does.

I finally started playing #fallenlondon, and I'm really enjoying it! It's pacing is right at home with my other chill #browsergames like Dragon Cave, Pixel Cat's End, and eTCGs. Since I'm feeling nostalgic, I might explore Gaia Online, Maplestory, and Furcadia again. Perfect for a rainy day like today.

Having kind of a rough week, but I am here to tell you that #FallenLondon now allows you to engage in piracy, and being able to zail around the Unterzee blazing away at anything that comes in range is making me feel considerably better. (Sure, there's a whole PLOT and REASONS why we're out here, I guess, but also there's another naval corvette that has unfortunately crossed our path, it's going DOWN.)
