I was reminded of this earlier today, I left the house at about noon the temp was 10C and sunny. At half three the little chime in my car that comes on when the temp outside drops to 2C to warn of the danger of black ice came on and started pinging. And it is definitely looking like a frost might be starting to settle even now at quarter to eight in the evening. #FalseSpring #ScottishWeather

It has been so damp and mild, we are having a bit of a false spring going on with the teasel seed heads.
This will cause confusion for the goldfinches who are usually on them after the seeds at this time of year.
