#AGBIC Day 4

I'm designing a font to use for various pieces of text in Apathello for #pico8.

It's based on the one on the original #Famicase cover by @lumbud84 on Twitter. Apparently it's a custom font!

It'll be drawn at a slant, just like the cover. No full demo of that yet, sadly.

My #famicase exhibition entry this year: ‘Recreational Bank Fraud’, a fictional video game for the 1983 Nintendo Famicom console.

For the past couple of years, I’ve tried to design these cartridges using my own typefaces — this one uses MD Primer, with some retro–high-tech caps I later released as MD Polychrome (https://mass-driver.com/typefaces/md-polychrome).

You've likely noticed the icon looks like a lowercase "a", and that's cause it kinda was. I made custom type for my METEODRIVE® #Famicase in early 2020. This was from an earlier, abandoned concept for that. Then I removed a few elements and repurposed it.
