I hope whoever did it isn't feeling too bad.
I'm bummed that I missed the experimental FamilySearch wills and deeds handwriting search. Looks like it's currently offline.

Continuing the scanning of hundreds of obituaries that my great grandmother collected. It has been so fun to upload them onto #FamilySearch! #Genealogist

Idly doing “Tasks” in my #FamilySearch tree, because I was bored, and found TWO maiden names in social security files waiting to be attached. Both wives of grand uncles. One I never knew but one I had wrong! I thought it was Boudreau but it was Deveau. Must have misheard. Or Nana misremembered. Yay for small wins. #Genealogy
My great grandmother clipped hundreds (and I mean HUNDREDS) of obituaries. I’ve been linking them to #FamilySearch but wowwwwww this is a process. #genealogy #FamilyHistory

@RichardNairn I use MediaWiki, it works well for storing all photos etc. as well, and I've got it linking to #Wikidata, #WikiTree, #FamilySearch, even Ancestry. Other people in my family edit it too (a tiny bit). I like Gramps but find it pretty restrictive for some uses (e.g. cataloguing a physical archive).

I use MyFamilyTree, an offline Windows freeware app. Handles GEDCOM files, sources and the things I need. Plus, I liked the fan charts.
I use #FamilySearch to correct my tree and expand possible relatives. If they're not maybe it will be helpful to someone else.
When my grandfather was recently married to his first wife, he appeared in the 1930 as living with another couple that had two young kids.
Couldn't find anything about the couple until one of my gf second cousins was updated on #familysearch , good thing you can follow them for updates.
Turns out the woman was his second cousin, and there is a picture of the husband. Now I need to contact the guy that uploaded the pictures.
A contributor on FamilySearch went through the tree and changed surnames of US born persons to use the umlaut.
This contributor stated: "their ancestors came from Germany and therefore the name should be written with the German umlaut".
I feel the names of US born persons should be entered in the tree as it appears on the birth record (without the umlaut).
So this is a poll to get other's opinions.

My #FamilySearch records go way back but are pretty spotty with unsourced facts. I mostly corrected and confirmed my post-Mexican independence (1821) ancestors.
The baptism of Joseph de Valles on Sept. 2nd, 1654 in Nueva Vizcaya, New Spain (now the state of #Durango, #México) is my earliest confirmed record of a direct ancestor
His parents, Captain Juan de Valle (also spelled Valles/Valle/Balles) and Isabel de Figueredo, are my 8th great-grandparents.

Did you find any interesting relatives on the #FamilySearch Find Relatives at RootsTech feature?
It seems that I'm a 7th cousin of Mexican singer Julieta Venegas, our grandparents lived in the same area and apparently they both had a brother that was shot to death in the same incident back in 1944.
