Author George Orwell’s cottage, The Stores, in Wellington, Hertfordshire, England. He lived here with his new wife Eileen. According to friends it was extremely uncomfortable but that was part of the charm for the newlyweds. Down the road was Manor Farm, and the area was the inspiration for Animal Farm.
