This is your sign to hold/attend a family reunion 🫶🏻

In March 2010, my maternal grandmother passed away at the age of 93, and her funeral bought together her five living children, 14 living grandchildren, her then 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-great-grandchild.

With weddings and funerals the only times we were catching up, we decided that we should be getting together every year, in honour of the woman who brought us all together once again.

So every March since 2011, my dad’s side of the family has been spending a weekend together in a caravan park, reminiscing, catching up, eating way too much food, and laughing so much we’re all forming abs. And it’s one of my favourite weekends of the year.
