DEADLINE just announced that #MatthewMacfadyen has joined the cast of #Deadpool3 and the speculation begins as to his mysterious role.

I don't actually know who he's playing, but I have him on my #fancasting list as PERFECT to play the new #MCU version of #ProfessorX. 😎

Prop 14 is the second time that “the adversary” (or “an adversary” if you prefer—though I do not) is mentioned (the first time being prop 7) and is (I guess?) a hypothetical entity who wishes to confound your ability to do Euclidean geometry through the deployment of logical fallacies…?
Anyway, neat character.

My #fanCasting for the adversary in the inevitable movie-version of the 1482 print-edition of Euclid’s Elements is currently tied between Prince Demande from Sailor Moon R and Le génie du mal.

In continuing my #fancasting of the MCU's version of the #Xmen, I want to cast my second favorite X-man, the mysterious and charismatic thief, Gambit.

No matter who you cast, they need to ooze charisma. I can't fully explain why Austin Butler is so perfect for this role, but after seeing him in ELVIS and then in interviews afterwards, I'm SOLD on his version of Gambit. He can carry a film, even if no other X-men are even in it. Just give him a story set in New Orleans.

This kid got so deep into character, he may never come out. To be honest, there are worst things to be compared to than #Elvis. Whatever the case, it's working for #AustinButler. He's got the charisma to pull it off. He's still my #1 #fancasting to play the #MCU version of #Gambit. 👍

Eric Magnus Lensherr has been played by two great actors and one of them is still young enough to play the #MCU version of #Magneto. The checmistry between #MichealFassbender and Mcavoy was one of the best parts of the #FOXUniverse and I'd love to see them together again.

Charles Xavier has been played by two great actors and one of them is still young enough to be the #MCU version. I say, give #JamesMcavoy another chance with better writers. His chemistry with Fassbender was one of the best parts of the #FOXUniverse and I'd love to see them together again.

Alright, well if #DCStudios is going to "wipe the slate clean" with a whole new #DCU, then we're going to need a new #WonderWoman. I'll leave my opinions about #GalGadot out of this, but I have here my top four choices of actors who could play Diana alongside a younger cast. In no particular order (hover over each picture for stats). God I love #fancasting. 😎

In continuing my #fancasting of the MCU's version of the #Xmen, I want to finish out the first class team with the big hairy nerd, but he's hands-down the hardest to cast.

Henry 'Hank' McCoy (#Beast) is the hardest to cast because he has to be believably nerdy and also show signs of animalistic ferocity in a motion-capture suit. I chose #DevPatel to play Hank because he's an amazing young actor and he's shown so much range, I've no doubt he would be an amazing Beast.

Warren Worthington III (#Angel) is probably the least popular of the first class, but there's so much potential with him to show a completely different perspective. I love #CodyFern for this, for so many reasons. He's young, he has a punchable face and he's proven in numerous #RyanMurphy projects that he has what it takes to act alongside the best.

IndieWire is reporting that a "Young Superman" movie (written by #JamesGunn) will be the first big film on the #DCStudios slate.

I don't know if this is true, but now would be a good time to tell you about my #fancasting for this role.

#DavidCorenswet is a really talented actor who would be perfect to play a younger version of #Superman. He's 6'4" and has the look, but more importantly, he's shown he can really bring it as an actor. He was in two huge projects this year and he's on the rise.

In continuing my #fancasting of the MCU's version of the #Xmen, I wanted to cast the youngest member of the first class.

Bobby Drake (#Iceman) eventually became an LGBTQ icon, but he started as the "kid brother" of the team. I believe that casting a gay actor would give a more authentic performance and #BrandonFlynn is perfect for the role. He really showed his chops in #13ReasonsWhy. He's young enough to grow into the role and really give people some great representation.

Scott Summers has never really been done that well in live-action and I think #NicholasHoult would be great to play #Cyclops, the leader of the team. Not only is he 6'3 (they call him slim for a reason), but he also has the perfect demeanor for the "Aw shucks" version of young Scott. Plus, he's a great actor and could play the darker sides of Scott's personality as well.

Speaking of #fancasting, #WIZARDMagazine was the blueprint for it. This issue from the mid-90s had the BEST picks (at the time) to play the X-men in a live-action #Xmen film, long before it was even possible. 😎

I just wanna take a moment to say that the recent #GhostRider rumor comes from a source known for claiming to be an insider, but I wouldn't take it as anything other than a rumor.

That said, my #fancasting for #JohnnyBlaze is #NormanReedus and I once got a "like" from him when I said this on #birdbox, so I take that to mean he'd be down to play the role. 😎

I've been thinking about #fancasting the MCU's version of the #Xmen recently and I want to start with the original class.

I think #SaoirseRonan would be a great pick for a young #JeanGrey. She is a future Oscar-winner and it would be a really good get for #MarvelStudios. She would be perfect to play a telepath that has to listen to people's thoughts against her will. She's proven she can carry heavy moments.
