I cast Susan before Hawk b/c Susan is more relevant to Spenser's character. This is the element every Spenser #TV / #Movie project to date has gotten wrong. #MarciaGayHarden was excellently cast in the 1999-2001 A&E movies, but the plots gave her nothing to do - and Parker himself wrote those scripts.

Ooh, and Janine Garofalo would also be a good Jessica Jones

You know who just struck me today would make a good Jessica Jones? Aubrey Plaza.

And while I'm at it, @TalonSwordFoundry and I have always thought Sawyer from Lost would have made a great Gambit, and the world is a poorer place for never having seen a Grace Jones version of Storm.
