So adding to a half-dozen other stresses, I may have to suddenly pick up the powered gauntlet and plan something on shortish notice for my #Champions fantasy campaign #HeroesOfKebbon. In addition to mocking up the graphics and planning for the next #iHunt game.
And again I stress, that’s not #FantasyHero. That is literally a medieval superhero campaign. Planning for this can get seriously weird. 2/2

40) Released in early 1985, just before they updated Champions to 3rd edition, "Fantasy Hero" was the next release by Hero Games (it also predates "Danger International"). It quickly saw an update following the revised rules for 3rd edition Champions.

@GamesPeoplePlay Interestingly, for my Thursday night game, I billed it as literally a “fantasy superhero” game. It’s a fantasy setting, it’s run in #HeroSystem, but it’s not #FantasyHero. It is Fantasy #ChampionsRPG, and players had the ability to build their characters with those tropes in mind.
For instance, we have a ranger-type with a quiver of novelty powered arrows, including the “boxing glove” arrow. And a two+ thousand year old draconid who didn’t …die correctly. 1/2

@jeremyrdyer I know —#FantasyHero is totally a thing. But for the group I’m playing with, I needed a superhero campaign first, and the fantasy setting just struck me as the most ridiculous thing to lean into. It’s now a high-magic, high-tech feudal society in which the king happens to be able to fly and beat back armies single-handedly. And the players like it too.
