Nigel Farage, the man who brought you Brexit, is back with a rabble-rousing cry against “woke capitalism”.

“Far-right parties will keep talking about immigration because it's their core topic, but in order to increase their appeal they need to kind of diversify their issues, what they talk about, and this is where woke capitalism comes in,” said Sofia Vasilopoulou, professor of European politics.

@TheBossRoss Similar here when the #BBC gives airtime to outright climate change deniers for 'balance'. Such 'balance' was also decidedly one-sided in terms for instance of the number of appearances by the execrable #Farage character on the (basically unwatchable) Question Time programme versus anybody with even a faintly Green/left inclination.

Seeing people cheering and encouraging actions of theft is just insane. #PiersCorbyn went into a cashless shop, took a box of strawberries, threw coins on the help desk and took them outside. He hasn’t been arrested for theft; instead there’s all these mad people cheering his action. We have cards, cheques, cash, bank transfers, agreed exchange [swop] to pay for items. We haven’t [yet] returned to paying by slaves, children or groats etc. Is this part of #farage and his de-banking strategy?

#Debanking has been going on for years. Look back over the past 10 years at least (probably more) and you will see news stories of sex workers, activists and other groups of people having their bank accounts shut down for no reason. I hope now that #Farage can actually be a force for good and this long standing problem can be finally fixed

The owner of #GBNews took out a bet on #NatWest price dropping. #Farage ensured it absolutely did, and got rid of the people who were doing the right due diligence in the process. #Sunak and others joined in and supported Farage. Guess where Sunak made his monies? In a similar way on a Dutch bank. It’s criminal behaviour, just like #Odey did under #Kwarteng budget in Truss’ time as PM.

Funny how #Farage is arguing how he couldn’t possibly be too poor to be a #Coutts account holder. Before Brexit he was at pains to tell us how poor he was, how he couldn’t ever be rich enough to hold an account like that, how he was truly “one of us”. It was vital we saw him that way for him to win a referendum. The Tories can fire a banker for dishonesty, but the biggest lie was right here all along.
