I saw a mythical White Heron at Farewell Spit. It's quite lovely. There are only 200 hundred in New Zealand. In other parts of the world they are call Great Egrets. #Bird #Birds #WhiteHeron #GreatEgret #farewellspit #tasman #NewZealand

Perennially one of my favourite spots. The walk from Cape Farewell to Triangle Flat affords incredible panoramic views of Onetahua/Farewell Spit, the Old Man Range, and Puponga.
