Historical data confirms a 50 year cycle of inequality widening, causing 'elite overproduction' (too many people of extreme wealth vying for a limited number of power roles). If wise, they redistribute their excess wealth. If not, they lose all in revolutions, get kidnapped, robbed, or assassinated etc.

Hence current privileged Farage/Trump/Johnson types playing 'victim', exploiting public discontent for further obscene personal gain.

The closer we get to the next Presidential Election the more I worry about another attempted coup. Was it an insurrection? Sure. But, it was also an attempted coup. We know they don’t want fair elections and are willing to use force. The far right like to see how much they can get away with, conditioning us to become desensitized to it.
