In better news, the tow truck driver was friendly and entertaining.

I got to hear about the time he drove over an (already dead) body in a taxicab in Arizona, and went on a 3-day bender in Vegas to get over it. And about troubles with his ex-wife. And how his mom doesn’t pay property taxes because she put up an (apparently popular) religious shrine in front of her house. 😁

I’m now at the dealership, waiting for a shuttle home. 🚐

Depending on extent of damage and availability of parts, I may be taking up on their offer of a rental car tomorrow. I sometimes whine about my premiums, but the deductible is low, and the service excellent. 👍🏻
