@jonathankoren @neurovagrant Yeah, and AFAICT they mostly support #btrfs, #ext2 / #ext3 / #ext4, #FAT32 and maybe #ExFAT in some cases where the vendor paid $$ per device to #Microsoft.

@JordiGH I'm convinced the #Wii's OS can't handle #NTFS...

You may be able to use a #FAT32-formatted #flashdrive or #SSD attached via #USB up to 32GB (on one partition) instead.

Your file sizes would be limited to 2GB still...

Apparently I discovered an interesting #bug in #macOS. If you attempt to delete files off of a #UDF formatted #DVD-RAM disc, it makes the computer crash. Apparently macOS only supports deleting files off of DVD-RAM discs in #FAT32 and #HFS+ formats.

OK so my son solved the problem of non-booting #Windows 11 USB stick (genuine #Microsoft) on a newly built #PC with #MSI motherboard. The thumb drive was formatted as #ExFAT and wasn’t #UEFI compatible, which prevented mobo from booting. Luckily we were able to boot Windows 10 from an old SSD, install network drivers, and create a new USB installation media. It was formatted as #FAT32 which turned to be UEFI compatible, and the motherboard booted from it without problem. What a bother.
